Resilience in the Smart Energy Grid

The energy transition poses new challenges for electricity and communications networks. This VDE event highlights how smart energy grids can be made resilient to disruptions and cyber attacks. Topics include the EU Cyber Resilience Act and NIS2, microgrids and the cellular approach, as well as gridforming standards for grid-forming renewable energies. The role of EU dataspaces for digital sector coupling and data sovereignty will also be discussed. Under the motto ‘It's the System’, the question of whether sector coupling is a problem or a solution will be examined. Join us as experts present strategies for a resilient, secure and sustainable energy infrastructure.
