Unlocking EV Flexibility for Grids: Solving the V2G Business Case

Electric vehicles (EVs) represent an enormous, largely untapped source of decentralized flexibility, capable of supporting the grid's integration of wind and solar power. However, this massive potential remains largely unused. Today, incentives for smart and bidirectional charging are still lacking, especially when it comes to grid fees. The central question remains: Why is this system so complex, and what feasible solutions can overcome the financial barriers to unlock the potential of EVs for smarter grids?

This event will tackle these challenges directly. We will place the discussion within the context of current regulatory processes (such as AgNes) and address the necessary operational steps. We will highlight positive examples of groundbreaking pilot projects and issue a Call for Action to regulators. Join experts to discuss how to eliminate the economic and regulatory blockades, enabling EVs to realize their full potential and become a critical asset for the future energy system.
