Financing Battery Storage: Challenges and Solutions for Municipal Utilities & Energy Suppliers
The massive expansion of renewable energies and the increasing need for grid stabilization are making battery storage systems increasingly attractive for municipal utilities and energy suppliers. But despite their potential, financing issues remain a major challenge.
In this webinar, we will shed light on the current market development, the typical financing models and banks' view of battery storage projects. Using a practical use case, we show the exemplary process of a storage project – from planning to financing. Finally, we provide an outlook on future financing solutions and show how municipal utilities and energy suppliers can be supported in the implementation of their battery storage projects.
