Bundesverband Erneuerbare Energie e.V.The Bundesverband Erneuerbare Energie e.V. was founded in 1991 as a joint interest group representing the renewable energy sector in Germany.
<
One of the statutory tasks of the BEE is to improve the framework conditions for renewable energies and to enforce their priority over other energy sectors. As an umbrella organisation, the BEE coordinates the individual activities of the associations with regard to politics and the public and promotes cooperation and exchange of experience in the field of renewable energies.
<
More than 30,000 individual members and companies are members of the BEE. The composition of the BEE board is correspondingly broad. Experts from all nationally active associations in the industry are gathered here. All five renewable energy sectors are represented on the BEE Executive Committee. Working groups on electricity, heat, mobility and Europe support the Executive Board with their technical work. The office in Berlin shapes the activities of the association and implements decisions of the board.
<
All organisations, associations and federations that support the objectives of the Federal Association and whose purpose is also the promotion of renewable energies may become members entitled to vote. The ordinary general meeting takes place once a year. It adopts the work programme and budget, elects the Board and sets the membership fees.
<
Companies and individuals can support the BEE as supporting members, if they feel connected to the goals of the association.
