Buildings as Energy Hubs – How to Rethinking Collaboration

Today's energy landscape is decentralized, digital, and interconnected. Buildings play a crucial role in this complex system, accounting for 35 percent of global final energy consumption and 30 percent of CO2 emissions in Germany. However, they also possess significant potential for solutions: they not only consume energy but can also produce, store, and distribute green electricity and heat. This makes them a vital link in the modern energy system and thus an essential player in the energy transition. Technologies such as photovoltaics, heat pumps, and battery storage make this possible. But how can the connection between technology, economic viability, and practical application be bridged in real-world situations?

This webinar is aimed at anyone who understands buildings as key components of the energy system and wants to bridge the gap between technology, cost-effectiveness, and practical application.
